I Am

I am a bud in a field of dozens. Yet, i am unlike the rest. -I am strong. The sun rises, the sun falls, the glory of day morphs into dark awaiting my time-ohh patiently waiting. -I am content The sun is soon joined by my friend with the precious gift. The droplets cure me -I am satisfied But the wind wishes to take me apart from my roots. The gift keeps me steady -I am ready My time has come ohh the glorious moment I open my arms, express my colors -I am beautiful The sun rises, the sun falls the light gets short, the dark long. But i do not fear I-have the gift.
