I AM...

I AM...

By: Camila Rodriguez

I am the girl who spreads her wings on wintery nights,

Enveloped in a cloud of minty bliss,

All here, all there,

Forever everywhere…

I am the guider, the seer, the protector,

Looking out beyond all reason,

Deep within the soul,

Always lying in wait…

I am the reader, the scholar,

Hands caressing thin sheets,

Sharing my wisdom with the world,

Flourishing with knowledge…

I am a sister, daughter, friend,

Loyal to blood,

Loving my treasured joys,

Truthful with comrades in arms…

I am all things big and small,

Grand yet normal,

Magical with a sheen of dullness,

Most of all…

I…

Am…

ME.
