I Am...

I Am...

I use to be shy

The innocence in my eyes.

I use to love hard

I use to dream

Wanting to live the big life like a celebrity.

I’ve messed up.

I’ve hurt myself and many others.

I cried

I still cry.

I pushed people away,

And I still continue to push.

I am not perfect.

I will never be perfect.

I keep my head up,

And realize life isn’t always easy.

I am not strong

I am weak.

I will breakdown.

I am me.

I can only be me.

I’ve tried to be anything but myself,

But if there was one thing god intended me to do,

It was to be myself.

I can only be me.

No one in the world is perfect

I am far from a dime.

I am a diamond in the rough.

I wish I wasn’t me sometimes.

I am the only person I will ever be;

I am me.
