I am the future, A strong voice of my generation

An independent young woman running towards my dreams without hesitation

I am a grain of sugar mixed in with a pile of salt

This generation seems like it's frowned upon but in my heart I know I am not at fault

I am the big thing that comes in a small package

I'll never give up in my strive to prosper despite my baggage

I am the average student with dreams that seem unfathomable

My goal is success the house of failure for me is inhabitable

I am deprived of valuable education at the school in my location

Yet I work with what I have regardless of my situation

I am the poet who didn't know it until they told me I'll go far if I show it

And they said if I have the talent then flaunt it and own it

I am an artist creating images on my canvas of life creating my own destiny

Figuring out who I am and erasing anything that's less than the best for me

I am my own inspiration with success as my motivation

And I will never give up until I am the definition of positive personal innovation
