I am...

I am a girl

who lays in this black box of death

in front of you.

I am a "Nerd of Science",

but when someone asks about my mother and

father,

I got silent.

The smell of smoke covers my jacket and

the fear in my eyes was all I needed to say.

The "Home of disappointment" was what I call it

as tears filled my eyes.

I talked of a masked figure who did something

so unbearable to even speak of but

it ruined me.

A day before I passed, I spoke of how the smell of beer

would travel throughout the house and

how "I hate you" was a more common thought than

"I love you".

As I sat down on a bench next to my best friend, I asked,

"How will people remember me and all I have done?".

I was suppose to give her my answer today but

instead I'm lying in this beautiful black dress and

most of you here, I'm seeing for the first time and

I ask you this,

"Was this the type of life you intended for me?

to be beaten,

teased,

played, and

finally killed?

was that the life I deserved?"

I know I didn't except that for myself.

I excepted a life full of enjoyment and

happiness but

someone in this very room thought otherwise.

Someone killed me and

made me miss the rest of my beautiful life.

They didn't shoot me or

stab me in the heart...

No...

They took the very meaning of life and

crumbled it into million pieces.

They made me feel as though I didn't matter,

as if I wasn't important and

no one cared about me.

I would have been so much happier if they would have just shot me.

They made me suffer.

Rope in hand,

I climbed to my death.

I wore it as a necklace and

soon it tightened.

I struggled to gain freedom but

soon I was free.

My breath became hort and

my face was flushed with defeat.

I've been writing since I was ten and have really enjoyed it since then. I wish I could become an author. :)
