I am

I Am Poem

I am the girl in the front'

the one you see

but never believe in

I am the first child

raised in a traditional African home

I am read your books and be something

I am that student that is intelligent

but silly

I am the one who stays up and wonder where it all went wrong

I am the one who believed in love but never experienced it

I am fighting for what's right no matter what it takes

I am insercure but strong enough to withhold myself

I am a representation of strong African American young woman
