I AM....

Born and raised in Chicago

throughout all my life, seventeen, only a teenager,

who still has a lot to learn

In household, was taught Peruvian culture.

Respect, politeness, happiness, and music.

One year of dancing, two years of dancing

turns into a lifetime of dancing. I take turns

with family, friends, loved ones, and strangers.

And it’s beautiful for the moment we are

together. But it ends and you get a new partner.

Independent, affectionate, cherry girl

who lives for her family and friends

The happy one out of this group and the

one to make sure that people see hope into this miserable place

we call life. These are the words that sometimes I think or

people have told me to describe who I am.

A small, hyper, and active girl

who probably has the biggest dreams in this world

Someone who still has a lot to learn

that’s who I am.
