I am alive

Am I alive? Maybe only for a few hours when my brain begins to imagine and my heart begins to envision, I know that I am truly alive. No, I am not dead. but I never took my first breath. I was a mannequin, sitting and waiting, Waiting for my soul. I found my smile in a book And pleasure in its words but that wasn't enough I was still a mannequin. I found my soul in a paper and pen and my heart beat in the imagination I breed. with that, I breathed creativity, Taking in long deep breaths. I am alive, because I am literature and it is me.
