I am Alive!

After endless miles of trekking,

Upon the mountain, I will arrive.

This blood in my veins proves that

I am alive!

Yet why do I feel like I’m dying?

I never thought that I would survive

Yet the air in my lungs can attest that

I am alive!

You cannot stop me

I will forever thrive

I will raise my voice and proclaim that

I am alive!
