I am alone

Alas, I am, in the corner of my head.

The darkness eats me inside

I am alone.

No greater destruction than the absorption of my happiness.

The abduction of a shining light, I seem to hold on to.

The hope that one day, maybe one day I might cope.

Dug my way out of this world

Into another atmosphere I have swirled.

Grasping to the reality of my destiny

Gasping for the little air I have left in my oxygen tank.

900 feet deep into the darkness…

How can you be so heartless?

Do you not hear me scream?

Can you not see the bubbles?

I am trying to breathe!

Yes, I am alone.

It’s not that what I fear,

This darkness I’m living in which fills me with tears

And that shining light that I’ll never get near.

Its long gone it’s not here.

Alas, I’ve lost myself completely

The blowflies eat me inside,

I am dead.
