I Am and I

I celebrate myself as I mourn myself.

For days I cried, for days I wandered, lost.

For days I was afraid, so afraid.

So lost.

So lost.

For days I rejoiced, life was so good.

It was so good, it was so wretched.

Bittersweet life.

Bittersweet life.

I am the one who worships the sun

As a Christian.

The one who loves the world

And God.

Who is not afraid to preach of planets

While worshipping the Holy Spirit.

I see people.

I feel their breathing.

I hear their pleas for mercy.

I cry for them.

I cry with them.

I cry with Christ in the garden.

Christ in a garden, Christ and nature, Christ in all.

I think their thoughts, I feel their emotions,

Until shut down, I cry.

So lost.

So lost.
