I am and will be.
I’m one of the many, one of the few.
I’m one of the broken, and one of the new.
I’ve had everything taken, but much more meaningful given
I’ve been close to death, but I chose to keep breathing.
I’ve been judged by the people, but accepted by friends and picked family
I’ve been striped of what made me a daughter, but I’ve been built to keep handling.
I’m falling apart, but I’m keeping everyone together
I’ve saved everyone else, but I’m now I’m trying to save the the one that matters.
I’m not sure where I’m going, but I’ll wing it
Nothing worked back then, but now I can take the hit.
I’m going to be what I dream, but for now I have to stay awake
The nights were getting harder, but now everything is going to be okay.
I’ve been knocked down, but now I’m building it all back
I am Presley, and I wouldn’t change any of that.
