I am an athlete

I am an athlete

I love the thrill of the game

With bat in hand I step up to home plate

I hit the yellow ball then run the bases

Then I put on my face mask and adjust my gear

I grab my mitt and take my place behind home plate

I am an athlete

I am a freshman at Southern Arkansas University. I am a member of Lady Muleriders softball team there. I have one younger brother who is 15. He has Type 1 diabetes. He was diagnosed in June 2011 and shortly after is when I decided I want to be a pediatric endocrinologist so I can help children with diabetes. I'm a member of First Baptist Church in Taylor AR. I have signed up for my second mission trip to Panama this summer. Am excited to share Jesus Christ with anyone anytime!,
