I am beautiful

I am beautiful

I am my mother's lips

I am my father's smile

I am my sister's freckles

I am beautiful

I am not my acne

I am not my scars

I am a work of art built by the universe

I am the greenest of the green trees

The bluest of the blue skies

The gray mountains and the calm waters

I am beautiful

I am a slave's lineage

I am a master's daughter

I am all and nothing

I am no filter

I am every filter

I am me, therefore

I am beautiful
