I Am Becoming...

Poetry...

I used to think of it as math.

Difficult. Different. Diffident was the attitude I took when asked to demonstrate.

It was a talent I commemorate for those that had it

Out of all the styles of performance it was one I praised but couldn't produce.

Does it have to rhyme? no.

Am I short on time? kinda.

Do I have to shout and walk around just to show how awesome it is? please don't

Unless... unless it's necessary

cause with poetry it's option but speaking is mandatory.

Speaking involves voice, voice involves sound, and sound is accompanied by vibration

Let it sync in.

your eardrums, to the molecules in your brain then we respond

You see, poetry... is an option but speaking was a must.

they told me words are weapons...

So I mainly used mine for protection

but I've become accustomed to sniping a trifling prideful idol til its stifling

see the right thing became the write thing.

my friend took me to some cafe type venues and

I liked it..

But what really pushed me over the edge was an artist named Propaganda.

Now I can go into his biography

but I rather tell you about his impact on my philosophy

simply by his style, aggression, and detail

I became

When I heard his excitement in the topic of righteous

I became

When he would correct his own views but delivered it personally

I became

And when his admiration touched my validation

I became

between excellence and reverence.

Being Fearless and filling ears with raw reality that involves voice.

then I reflected on my own conflicts and conviction

And there... I became
