I am... a believer

We all say "if"

If I get admitted to my dream college,

If I am one in a billion,

If the stars come out tonight,

If I get the opportunity of a lifetime,

If he danced with me,

If I am good enough,

If only we made "if' a reality.

It is human nature to doubt thyself.

Refresh your email,

Prepare to get recognized,

Make sure to enjoy every millisecond,

Wear the flowy dress that makes you smile bright,

Be proud of all that you have become

You will always be the chosen one to those that you love.

The night I become an Aggie,

I'll lay in the grass and see my reflection in the sky.

I'll dance like a fool until the sun comes up.

And i'll thank Sulley once more, a penny for your thoughts?

Hello everyone. I am Eliza, my dream is to go to A&M, but I cannot afford it. This poem was my way of showing that there is hope even when you are in a negative situation. It may sound silly, but believing in one's abilities goes a long way. Thank you so much for reading.
