I am Black

I walk down the street with my head high, yet others look me down because of my skin.

I am a women, a person, I bleed the same blood, but others seem to not care, they think i'm a thug.

Even though I am seen as evil, and a stain on the earth, yet when born I was beautiful at first.

Why me?

No more shame, No more fear, Yes I am Black and I will stay this way, just like the sun will stay bright,

and the Moon in the sky will stay at night.

I am black and that is that.
