I Am A Book
Page 6.
My pages are clean
and crisp
and new.
There's fun in my story
and so much
to do.
My spine is quite strong,
bound tightly
with care.
My character runs
with the wind
in her hair.
Page 10.
My pages are flexible
but still in
good shape.
There's a chase in my story;
she needs to
escape.
My spine is still firm
but the binding's
not tight.
My character smiles but
things aren't
alright.
Page 15.
My pages are worn
and torn
and stained.
There's love in my story
and passion
and pain.
My spine's been abused,
gone flimsy
and weak.
My character sits
all alone;
things look bleak.
Page 17.
My pages are finally
falling
apart.
My story has changed
quite a bit
since the start.
My spine is now broken,
now brutally
shred.
My character wants
to put a bullet
in her head.
Page 20.
My pages are taped up
and looking
just fine.
My story's still going;
the control
is all mine.
My spine is sore but
still holding
together.
My character made it;
she's finally
better.
