I Am a Boy

I am a boy

Not a girl

Why would you say such a thing?

Is it because of my thick thighs?

Or do my curvy sides give it away?

Don’t worry

That can be fixed

I am a boy

Not a girl

Can’t you tell?

The way I walk and talk

The way I act and laugh

Deafening

Not silent

Expanding

Never contracting

This masculinity placed into the wrong body

I am a boy
