I Am Broken

No one sees it, and that scares me.

When I'm not smiling that smile that people say is so beautiful,

I'm holding in sobs that try and dare to escape.

Behind my eyes that shine so brightly,

are tears that dare to roll down my face as I watch this catastrophe called a life go by.

When I'm not laughing my laugh that others laugh at,

there is a scream that wants so badly to escape my lips.

So take away everyhting that you see. Ask me if I'm okay now, and you won't get the "Yeah. I'm always okay." You'll get the true me. You get the girl that is disreetly broken.
