I Am... A Caged God

How dare you clip my wings?
You who freed the crow.
I laid in wait for a call to arms
but received only wind to blow.

A God in her cage,
becoming one with her captor
she accepts the fate of her own rage.

Her complex strong
and her call echoed along
a God will sit in her cage.

These bars of steel become her home
now nowhere left to roam
a God will cry into her wings tonight.

Her tears are poison yet she cries them daily
for Sadness is a sickness on it's own.

So bid farewell to the god in her cage
and become one to set her stage,
