I AM THE COIN OF NEITHER SIDE

You couldn't spur me to meaningless action,

even if YOU were the gun directly pointed at me.

Forever extinguishing passion's- fire,

with your unswerving love affair with mediocrity.

Will it ever occur to you,

that i,

chose to discern the proof

from guise?

So hard to tell the difference 'tween,

barkers, bestsellers

shellac from gleam.

Are you the barometer?

Or a rectal depositor?

A superconductor

or despising admonisher?

To buck up against both ridiculous tides,

has left my soul disqualified?

Then by all means enjoy the ride.

For I AM THE COIN OF NIETHER SIDE.

"I fall on the edge,

instead of wings.

For heads and tails,

are not true things..."

Yeti Noone

poet, mystic. Wrote it but somehow... missed it. Dark prose is somewhat of an artform of mine. Each portrait is akin to a dark meditation on the human condition/consciousness or lack thereof.
