I Am Death
I Am Death
I jump.
I’m falling, falling into the endless abyss.
The sudden blow hitting the ground bursts my thoughts to nothing.
Ticktock, every second drags on.
The cold, bitter and biting, slowly creeps in.
Old and frail, I wait at deaths door.
The kiss, sweet and romantic, hasn’t yet come.
Waiting,Waiting for that final breath.
The warmth, caring and soft, cannot hold on any longer.
Time, time is drawing nearer.
Closing till it is strangling.
I invite him into my home.
I am death.
