I Am Defined

I Am Defined…

I am not defined

by appearance

by the fabric

by the leather soles

day to day.

I am defined by

my personality

my take on the world

everyday.

The way I react

to situations.

To the world closing one door

and opening a new one

The way I act.

Being energetic

insane

fun

funny.

I am defined by

my attitude

towards family

and friends.

The way I listen.

Always caring.

Also determined

to push them

to the best they can be.

Showing my God loving,

tender,

passionate,

heart,

to everyone.

Being loyal,

hardworking,

outgoing.

I am defined by God

with every curve and straight edge

he made me.

By the beauty

in and out

he provided me with.

I am defined

not by family,

friends,

myself,

the people I see,

day to day.

I am defined by

my personality

by attitude.

The way God made me.

Being me,

defines me.

Without this

I would not be

the women I am today.

My life defines me.
