I am Different

I am the essential difference between everybody else

I take courage in the fact that I am different

Uniqueness is what divides us

it is the reason we are who we are

So yes

I may be beautiful,

irrational,

funny

yet It is because of me that

I am me.

I am no more special than anybody else,

No one is perfect

But I can accept my flaws

and I can distinguish my sense of divergence

I can be me,

And not feel judged

Because we live in a world of acceptance,

And that makes me special.
