I am different from yesterday

I have the same body and peace of mind

I might even have something more to say

But thanks to you, I'll never be behind

I met you when I was young

You taught me the skills I needed

You showed me the people I'd live amoung

And showed me the rules I should have heeded

I'll leave soon to live and be like you

I'm scared and the thought gives an awful feeling

I know that you'll always help me through

And your help will always keep me breething
