I am down but ready to be up
There are times in life
When I fall
A heavy fall
I feel like I don’t have the strength to get up
Depressed!
At social meetings
I put on a happy face
And making sadness good
A feeling that all is well
But it is not.
At home
Laying in my bed
Where no one looks
Realities show up
Fear comes in generously
Now, I don’t need to impress anybody
Because I am now me
A visible fear
When there is none to create my way
A way to my streams
At the point, I am down in life
And don’t know for sure
What is going to happen in the near future
So scared!
Really scared!
Absolutely worried about
What people think of me
Or say about me
And fear paralyzes me
The little hope is gone
These are my words
I tell you, I am down here
Faced down here
Pressed down with circumstantial emotions
It should be impossible
For me to get up
Without link and connections
It should be impossible
For me to get up
But, I will pick up myself
The little strength shall make me stand
In case I fall a hundred times
And my observers increase
I shall try more and more
The more I try
The more my chances of getting up
