I Am Enough

Everyone says you can’t, that you won’t be good enough.

I’ve told myself that enough times to know that saying well.

I wanted to believe them, and myself, and I almost did

But something told me not to.

I’ve been denied, I’ve cried, I tried to hide, but most importantly, I prayed.

God told me I can, that I am enough. My family told me I can,

That I am enough. Faith and family are my reminders to me that

 I can, that I AM ENOUGH. Nothing is out of my reach,

Nothing is beyond hope. Believing and having support  

Showed me that I CAN, that I AM ENOUGH. I will tell myself everyday

That I. AM. ENOUGH.
