I am EVERCHANGING
I am...ever-changing...yet the same
A quality we all share with the sunset as it consistently sheds its esoteric beauty day by day in a way that is altogether unique and unparalleled
Yet...I am at times scared of change, scared of gradually losing the moments that define my most jubilant self
Like the comfortable chorus of my favorite song
That goes away all too fast
Before I even have the chance to sing along
In an attempt to capture the emotions that resonate with who I am at that moment
I am... now realizing that maybe my fear doesn't stem from my tenacious determination to preserve my most notable exploits...
But from the anxiety that emerges as I abruptly plunge into a future not knowing whether I will feel the same crazy
Love,
Exhilaration,
and Support
That I feel now...
The not knowing if I will become and do everything I've ever dreamed of...
Not knowing whether I will take the path less chosen...The not knowing what that path actually is
...maybe that’s the beautiful part...the not knowing
I am… often envious of the sun and the way in which it is free to shine its light as it pleases, its true self, without feeling ashamed or bashful, because it knows…
It knows its value, its uniqueness, and more importantly, its Purpose
The sun does not worry about when to come out or how it will help everything around it flourish…It expresses itself effortlessly…its just something it knows—Oh dear Sun how I'd like to know what you know!
What I know: I am...granted a choice...a choice to live moment by moment paving my way towards the stars while simultaneously helping others do the same...
I am EVER_CHANGING, living moment by moment not knowing, yet not having to worry about how or when or with who ill get there
I am…beginning to realize the not knowing is our most precious gift, it defines us and lets us choose and change who we are to become-- that IS the beautiful part
