I Am Everything
I am a Mickey Mouse towel and big hair
I am my grandmother never cooking,
I am cleaning for money
I am the long grass
Behind the big moron house
I am Abundant Life, from shake it together and run it over
I am hurricanes and peanut butter sandwiches
I am road trips to Calvert,Texas and Candy’s Candle Store
I am “put it on the calendar” and “did you check the calendar”
I am "are you mixed?"
and " No I'm just light skinned"
I am behave in public
I am from tickle fests and pain
From big cousins being big brothers
I am “I’ll give you something to cry about” and “fix your face”
I am a part of a loving family
I am an apple not far from its tree
I am the story within me
I am and always will be a girl with the Name of a city on her forehead
I am a bundle of what you think
I am everything.
