I am Fear

Who am I?

Go on, take a guess.

I’ll give you a hint.

I’m not exactly your friend,

But I’m always by your side.

You cannot see me,

But you know I’m there.

I’m not a friendly person,

Because I’m not a person at all.

You try to act brave when I’m near,

But I know you are afraid of me.

I’m with you in your dreams,

Because I’m a part of your dreams.

I whisper in your ear,

And you choose to listen.

I make you cry,

When you don’t want to.

I’m everywhere you look,

There is no avoiding me.

I’m like a shadow,

Always watching you.

You can’t avoid me,

No matter how hard you try.

There is nothing you can do to stop me.

You are not the only one I stalk,

I stalk everyone in the world,

At the exact same time.

Still don’t know who I am?

Alright, I will tell you who I am.

I…. am…. Fear.
