I am a Female
I am a female
I am a female who's body is sexualized
in the eyes of the men who find themselves superior
I am a female who's every move is dictated
by someone who has degraded me since forever
I am a female who's taught that if I try to look cute
and the man in the suit glares it's on me
I am a female who distracts men who can't keep it in their pants
I am a female who does better than men expect
just because my pecks are larger than yours doesn't give you a right to look
I am a female who won't get a say in the way I get to act
I am a female who's told that old or young
if your skirts too short it's your fault they gaze
I am a female who's tired of it being "my fault"
and the vault that is my body will expose itself any way it wants
I am a female who diminishes roles the trolls have put bridges in her path
but she does not have to answer his riddle just pass by and
try to realize it has never been her fault.
I am a female who is no longer afraid of what the world thinks,
and will not be silenced by the clothing she wears,
the length of her hair or the amount of men who will stare.
