Come gather around the fire place, Its story time. Come sit and widen your ears, Oh come hear glorious of a story. Call me the flag, I am the flag. Born not so long ago. I have leaved past ages. Look up and see me, I now stand tall and high, I stand at a home call Cush. I symbolize the Cush. The globe recognize me. Though, they call me young one, But my head is high. Higher enough to be seen. Look up onto me, But do not despise me. I am black, white,red, white, green. Blue, yellow, I am a star I guide. I have seen the unseen, I have done the undone, I have trembled and fallen, I have gone through the hell. Call me guerilla, Am the flag. I have walked valleys and mountains, Crossed streams and rivers, Rummaged through deserts and jungles. When am blue, my soldiers sang up For the sake of my people, In the name of Cush. From bows and arrows, To Kalashnikovs, Dababaad to Antonovs, I have fought fights and wars, For 21 ages I have battled. I was soiled on, torn and burn, I was trembled and burn on the streets. I was used to bandage my wounded comrades. Flown at haft-mast to honor my fallen heroes and heroines. Call me the guerilla flag, I am the flag. Ask the history book, And my tale be told. At the glorious hours, and it came to past. Free at last! Free at last!!! I was born silent, but vibrant in Jubilation. Not so long ago.
