I Am Flawless

I am flawless,

I AM

beautiful and wonderfully

made,

by God.

Look a little closer,

my ears are shiny?

What is that?

Oh, that is my hearing-aid.

I call it my badge of courage.

It goes everywhere with me,

through the sun, rain sleet and snow.

Then it goes with me to school,

where I teach my students that they can overcome

their obstacles and reach,

for their dreams.
