I Am Flawless
Beauty resonates from within.
An elegance that consumes and forms.
Smile. Voice. Skin. Personality.
Inside and out.
But I felt the whispers closing in...
Fake. Ugly. Unworthy.
Clouding my mind and spirit like a dark plague.
Worst was that I let it.
The flaws...
Yes. The features I felt conscious about.
I remember feeling low,
A disappointment.
Yet my flaws have become a part of me,
An effortless coating of reality that engulfs you
And your essence.
Something I refused to lose.
I realized that we are canvases
And life is the paintbrush.
Beauty should have no limits,
Like the great oceans that cradle
Our world.
I learned that being flawless
Is accepting
And being proud,
Of the diversity and beauty that set each of us apart.
Embrace that we are
Strong.
Fierce.
And flawless.
Believe that.
