I AM FOUND

whipping winds

tear away my guise

in the night

your hands

weapons of destruction.

twisting tornadoes

i watch in dismay as you

turn me into shreds

and lock me away

isolation.

unhurried

the calm before the storm

i break away

but there is no freedom

no chance of escape

awakening awareness

i give everything

i give everything

and you don't see

hopeless

finally found

i am caught

in an endless cycle of desperation,

fear, torture

nothingness.

who am i?

what am i?

only you know.

i am what you say i am.

whatever that may be.

i am not my own
