I Am Found

I am lost.

Lost in the shadowy depths of uncertainty,

Lost in the blinding lights of reality,

Lost in the inbetween, here but there,

I am lost.

I am searching.

Searching for a reason to believe,

Searching for an unprecedented strength,

Searching for a common ground between here and there,

I am searching.

I am wearing a mask.

A mask of happiness that isn't felt,

A mask of confidence that doesn't exist,

A mask of certainty when the only thing certain is uncertainty,

I am wearing a mask.

But I am unafraid.

Unafraid of the darkness that uncertainty has brought,

Unafraid of the blindness felt when stuck in reality,

Unafraid of being stuck both here and there,

I am unafraid.

For I am but one person

Teeming a brimming with curiosity.

What once was uncertain will be made certain.

What once was dark will be made light.

What once was blinding will be made visible.

For I am but one person,

Teeming and brimming with curiosity.
