I Am Free

I have my wings so I can fly I will look back and wave goodbye I'm almost there I've finished the race My reward is that I can walk through that golden gate I've been with you for so many years Now I'm gone so just remember the laughs and cheers When you're done crying then you will see That I'm better off when it's just father and me My story has ended but don't close the book Because it wouldn't hurt to take another look Instead of crying just look up and say Thank you lord for taking them away On earth I have been through a lot of pain But in Heaven I promise it won't be the same I'm not sad to you shouldn't be Because now I'm just glad to say that I AM FREE
