I am free

Free from the chains society put on me
Free from the afflictive internal battle of who they say I should be.
Father god you save me
Pain does not consume me
Opinions do not delude me
To those who knew me
Do not grieve for me
Leave me
Let me be
When you look in the night sky and see those stars shining bright you see me
When you feel the gentle breeze on a warm summer day caress your face you feel me
When the trials of this life strike you down
Pain and fear have you bound
I'll be the strength that's help you to your feet
I'll never leave thee
Don't weep for me
I'm finally where I need to be
Believe me when I say I'm free .
