I Am a Freerunner

I am a Freerunner.

It’s a want, a love, a desire,

A passion for something breathtaking.

A form of art that’s worth taking

A chance for.

A way to express yourself,

Enjoy yourself,

To be free and believe in yourself.

I can fly through the air

With flips and tricks

And tucks and twists.

No one can stop me,

Tell me to slow down,

Keep me from being and doing what I adore.

Imagine falling in love for the first time.

That feeling in your gut,

That want for more,

That urge to keep going and trying

And running and flying,

With falling and failing

I won’t give up,

I’ll be wailing

To the world

“Watch me!”

Watch me get up and do it again.

Because I am a Freerunner.

And boy am I free.
