I am gender-fluid

You are either a girl or a boy, and that's it, right?
You can be one or the other, not both and not neither.
That's what I've been told, and I try to believe it with all my might,
But I know how I feel, you don't.

Some days I wake up and I feel all pretty.
I want to put on a dress and dance around.
I want to do my makeup and wear my heels,
Flaunt my look all around town.

And the next I'll wake up and feel like on of the guys.
I'll put on my chest binder and my baggy shorts and feel like I belong
Act all tough and be happy with who I am that day
No matter what anyone can come up with, a chant or song

And other days I'll feel like neither, or both
A weird mix or nothing at all.
I can't just take control.
But that doesn't make me less of a person

I am the same as you, just with a different gender
I am gender fluid and can fly around the spectrum
I am option D, all of the above, just not always all at once
And I'm not alone with this, many others and I are gender fluid together

I'm young and I love to write poetry, but I'm not all that great at it. So any feedback is welcome, I'd rather know my flaws than be oblivious to them. I write basically whatever comes to my mind, silly topics, serious ones, I write with joy and anger and depression, all setting different moods for my work.
