"I am the Girl"

I have two identities.

One, is the way that people see me, when they really don’t know me. 

The way they perceive me in a photo,

Or a quote,

Or a video;

The way they see my smile,

My eyes,

My face,

My body,

And they think they know me,

But they dont.

There is another me, the real me.

I am the person behind the screen,

Gaining confidence from every photo I release.

I am the girl who ignores real life, 

Because sometimes I get so caught up in the wired life.

I am the girl who finally decides to shut it off for a while,

And go outside and feel the warm air.

I am the girl who feels the air and the grass and the mud,

And knows that this feeling isn’t one you could just describe.

I am the girl who finally thinks about life,

Once I feel like I’m not keeping up with it.

I am the girl who thinks about everything thats wrong,

When I don’t have the one thing that makes me feel like everything alright. 

I am the girl who everyone knows

But no one actually, sincerely knows.
