I Am Grown

They tell me I don't know what it's like to be a grown up.

That life isnt as nice as I have it and once I'm an adult life is hell.

Let me tell you all something;

I am grown.

I am not some child you can look down upon anymore.

I have seen, heard, and felt just as much as you;

Only difference is I haven't been here as long as you.

So believe me;

I am grown.

Life has thrown every curve ball at me.

Anywhere from a failing grade to a failing organ.

The length of your life has nothing to do with it.

Do you see it now?

I am grown.
