I AM HALEE

I am,

A caressing hand on doors,

Opened for aged beings.

The ears that listen to burdens,

By empathy not judgement.

A maker of my own beginnings,

Baring all responsibilities with depth.

Fueled by pictures of the future,

To defeat arising doubts.

The survivor of anorexic tendencies,

With every troubled bite.

Rooted amongst a loving family,

Entwined with my protection.

The one of two,

Role model to a brother.

Never perfect,

But, always trying.

I am,

Halee.
