I am Happy

I am who I am because of one night

One of of sadness and heartbreak

Where my dad was no longer my dad

And where my mom has now raised me to be me

I am just like my mother

I couldn’t be more proud of who I am

It has been tought without him around

But never do I let anymore see me frown

I am happy and outgoing

Nobody would ever know about that night

You see my smile and would think everything is alright
