I Am Happy To Be Free
Sometimes I'm stressed
And I get depressed
But there are times where I feel very blessed
Some tell me I'm not like the rest
But really I just feel oppressed
By society and how much
You can't rely on them
Because they spy on you
And you know it's true
You're never truly free
Unless you're being the best you
That you can be
You're not desiring to be me
Or to be a tree
But you're alive for you
And standing up for what you do
That is the essence of life
But most live in strife
Because they let the government control who they can and cannot be
And are never truly free to practice their beliefs
So no ones getting any relief
This life is hard
And they're all absurd
Because they don't know the word
The words that'll set you free among the earth
The one that gave birth to all the plants
The one who created us all
Before we had this huge downfall
From grace
So now no one wants to be in this place
We all want to go to space
But if we can't live here
Then we can't be there
For we destroy all we touch
And consume what we don't need
All because of the "man's" greed
Yet half the world still needs to feed
And so many have yet to succeed
In this life nor the last or the future
So let's pray that you find a job that suits you
See me, I strive to be humble
Because not too long ago my cookie crumbled
And I was a mess
But now all I can do is strive for greatness
I don't bother with the things
That make you want to die
Or run and hide
Most of the time I just cry
And lay in bed
Trying to rest my head
But we need meditation instead of medication
Because if you can but cigarettes
Don't you think it'll get worse, yet
You continue to do so
Letting them kill you real slow
But not me, no
I'm going to keep living my cycle
Until I'm on my last round
And I leave to receive my crown
Once I'm reconnected with my twin flame
All my knowledge will be regained
But until then I won't remain the same
No, I'll never be lame
Just living with my head in the game
Because I'm not the same
As all of you
And the things you do
No I am me
And I'm happy to be free
