"I AM, THAT I AM"
Provocation motivates the inspiration of a great one,
Expression is the kin that realizes inspiration,
Isn’t the origin, a thought? Then who’s to blame for its creation?
The common man would prosecute a culprit named “The Nation,”
Accuse it of manipulating masses through sensation,
What sense? Fear, it drives many souls with time,
It could tend to separation or hold things within a bind,
Stalin’s sporadic affinity with Hitler at one time,
Or David fleeing Saul even though He knew no crime,
I digress from that digression in an interrogative decree,
What happened to possession of personal responsibility?
Oh, I recall when it was fading, many centuries before,
I saw Humanism flourish, faith was closed behind the door,
Logic became a curse that withered the substance of a hope,
With knowledge came obeisance to agendas of the foes,
Thus, society exploits its own with no need to hesistate,
It easily capitalizes on its people’s lack of Faith,
Faith lacking where? Its quite easily exposed
Now, Lets learn a lesson from the founding men of old
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” –John Adams, 2nd Pres. Of the U.S., on nominati dei.
Overbearance is in no way the intent, but enlightenment and straightening of a path once bent,
Arise men that sleep, I know the origin of your thoughts
Its dictation comes not from “The Nation,” you are stronger than what’s taught.
Not subjected to a false reality, but capable of GREATER.
You must be “sought” to “seek,” “called” to be “chosen”, and “eager” to “elevate,”
Elevate beyond structures confined to the Earth,
Commune amid the stars with the Liberty of Rebirth,
Follow the cloud that follows the Lamb, I’m not who you want me to be
“I AM, THAT I AM”
