As I am, I am me.

They look at me and instantly begin to judge me They search my eyes for something but only find what they lack Yes, I am proud that I am Black Yes, I am proud that my skin glows in the sunlight and I even stand out at night As dark as I am, I still shine... As dark as I am, I still climb... To the top, non stop because I am Blessed, I will not stress God made me dark as a panther with teeth white as snow He gave me passion and love straight from above and a divine mind to let it all show No man intimidates me No man is below me We are the rainbows of life An ombré of colors We are the butterflies of the skies So why do we fight? Why does it matter if I am black and you are white?
