I Am > I Was

I Am > I Was

Destined. Happy. Ambitious.

Somehow came the wrath of fear, loneliness, and desperation.

So much concentration, but way more frustration.

There was always a goal, but doubt was there too.

There came a time when I felt like it was my cue.

My time to give up, and throw it all away.

But there was something in my ear, telling me to wait and just stay.

I could see my goal, I could feel it.

I then knew it was my time, my time to seal it.

So when that fear comes back, I drill it away.

I know the feeling, it’s a distraction it’s fictitious.

But somehow I’ve grown to be: Destined. Happy. Ambitious.
