I am just a girl
People think that i'm just a girl
A girl who lives a happy life
That girl that always smiles
The one who always laughs
Only reality knows that none of this is true
I'm broken inside
Like shattered glass
Heart broken I'm lost in a maze that nobody can escape
I smile because I tired of people asking
I don't want people to know my story
Because I don't want people to feel pity
I cry my river every night
Hoping maybe, just maybe one day
This will all be a nightmare
I want to go home
Is what is ringing in my head
I want them to stop being mean to me
I want my parents to come back
I want to forgive
I want to be happy
Life is a struggle
Take me back to those good times
The times were my mom held me not her drugs
Where my brother still cared
Where my dad still loved me
I am just the girl who sits next to you
The one that smiles and laughs
The one nobody knows her story
